2023 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT

For the first timethe series includes five concerts of award-winning Canadian and American artists.

The performances include:

  • Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall on Friday, July 7.
  • Canadian country singer, Dean Brody on Monday, July 17.
  • American singer and songwriterLyle Lovett and his Large Band on Tuesday, July 18.
  • Blues rock singerColin James on Tuesday, August 8.
  • Multiple Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter, Sarah McLachlan on Monday, August 21.

When can I book concert tickets?

Tickets for all five concert events will be released to Wine Club members by membership tier, starting with Legacy Club members on Monday, April 3rd, then Terroir members on Thursday, April 6th and Reserve members on Thursday, April 13th

How can I book concert tickets?

On the release date for that membership tier, club members will receive an email with links to book ticket packages for all four concerts. Ticketing and payment will be done exclusively via the secure Admit One platform.  
 
You will be able to pre-select your concert experiences, optional seating upgrade. Once you complete your order, you will receive digital tickets on your phone via Admit One.

 

How many concert tickets can I book?

Each member can book up to 6 ticket packages total, for themselves and 5 guests. 

What are my package / dining options?

Mission Hill Family Estate offers exquisite Culinary Experiences for guests to revel in the Okanagan summer and celebrate an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and song.

TERRACE DINNER
Wine-paired, three-course dinner with a fixed menu of local, seasonal faire with choice of entrée from the culinary team.
$525 per guest

CHAGALL DINNER
Wine-paired, three-course custom tasting menu in the stunning Chagall room.
$500 per guest

PATIO PICNIC
Elevated picnic with salad, charcuterie board, dessert, and bottle of wine on the Loggia or Oculus Patio.
*Must be booked in pairs of 2 for up to 6 guests*

ESSENTIAL CONCERT PACKAGE
Includes concert admission ticket and two glasses of award-winning wine.
$320 per guest

All experiences receive a welcome glass of sparkling wine.

Food & Beverage

In compliance with BC Liquor Control Board, restaurant, and food safety licensing, outside food and beverage is strictly prohibited on winery property. A selection of dining experiences is offered before the show as part of ticket packages. A designated wine serving is included in all ticket packages, including a welcome glass of sparkling wine. Additionally, a-la-carte wine, light fare snacks will be offered for purchase prior to and for approximately one hour into each show, or until the end of intermission if applicable.

Please note that while you are welcome to purchase bottles of wine from our Wine Boutique during your visit, all wine for consumption during events must be provided by a hospitality staff member. All bags are subject to search by security personnel. Any prohibited food or drink will be confiscated and discarded, and you may be asked to leave the premises.

What is the cancellation policy? How does that work with Admit One and refunds? 

Tickets and ticket packages are non-refundable except in the event of a concert cancellation, in which case tickets are refundable via the original point of purchase only.

AdmitOne.com is the exclusive ticket provider for all Mission Hill Family Estate Summer Concert Series events. Tickets are only available for purchase online. Tickets will not be sold at the winery beforehand. 
 
You must bring your ticket(s) with you to the winery. Tickets will be scanned from your smartphone. There is no will call, box office or replacement ticketing on the night. 
 
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a concert cancellation, in which case tickets are refundable only at the original point of purchase. All ticket pricing is in Canadian dollars, subject to a non-refundable handling fee, and applicable taxes.

All concert seating is designated by seat and row number and pre-selected online at time of ticket package purchase. VIP seating upgrades are offered for designated rows in the upper bowl area.  

Mission Hill Family Estate is wheelchair accessible. Concert wheelchair spaces are at the top of the Amphitheatre. If you have non-wheelchair seating needs to accommodate mobility, please be sure to book an aisle seat, or contact us for assistance at 250-768-6400 prior to the performance.

Doors open for concert package admission, including pre-event dining, from 4:30 pm. All Amphitheatre seats are designated by seat and row number. Concert seating begins at 7:00 pm and performances commence at 7:30 p.m. The winery’s landmark Bell Tower will ring to signal the start of concert seating. Each concert runs for approximately two hours.

Please note, Mission Hill does not facilitate reselling of tickets. In the unfortunate case you are unable to join us, it is your responsibility to resell or transfer your tickets. We kindly ask that you update us on the new ticket holder’s information.  

Limited on-site parking is available at the winery. Carpooling is encouraged. Parking attendants will direct cars to on-site and off-site parking areas. Available parking is complimentary for all event ticket holders. 

While there will be taxis available at the event conclusion, we strongly encourage attendees to plan for a designated driver, so everyone gets home safely.

All concerts are performed outdoors and held RAIN or SHINE. There is no covered seating. Please dress for the weather, including rain gear and appropriate footwear for a sloping, grassed and/or wet area. Personal shade umbrellas are permitted only prior to the performances and during intermission. A limited number of clear rain umbrellas will be offered by the winery in case of inclement weather.

Mission Hill Family Estate is a non-smoking and cannabis-free venue. Smoking is only permitted in the “Designated Smoking Area” at the end of the paved walkway outside the Keystone. There is absolutely no smoking or use of cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, or similar within the winery grounds.

Children are permitted to attend concerts at their adult guardian’s discretion. Due to artist contracts and venue capacity regulations, tickets are required for all children aged 3 and up, no exceptions. There is no special ticket pricing for children. Alcohol consumption is limited by law to age 19+. Please be aware that if you do bring a child and that child creates a disturbance, you may be asked to leave the Amphitheatre.

Pets are not permitted inside the winery gates and must not be left in your vehicle during events. Service animals are permitted in all public areas of the grounds. A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, and does not include emotional support, comfort, or companionship animals. Service animals must be housetrained and kept under control throughout their time on winery property.

We ask that you be courteous to your fellow guests and their view, as well as respectful of the artist’s performance.

Artist merchandise is provided by the artist or tour. Some artists do not carry merchandise with them. If available, merchandise will be located on the upper Courtyard lawn.

All lost & found items are kept in a secure location at the winery. During a concert, contact any of our security personnel to enquire about your item. After the performance, please call 250-768-6400 or email info@missionhillwinery.com. Mission Hill Family Estate is not responsible for any personal items or other property.

On concert dates, the winery remains open for tasting, tour, and lunch reservations, and boutique shopping until 1:00 pm. You can reserve those experiences online here. Terrace restaurant is only available for dinner to winery concertgoers on the applicable ticket package.
